These shackles take the place of S-hooks. They are safer and reusable. They are stronger and some cities and parks are requiring their use instead of S-hooks. A special wrench is needed to open and close them, so there is not need to worry about equipment being stolen. This shackle is 5/16” with 3/8” x 1 ½” bolt. There is a 1/2" opening a the bolt and at the widest it is 1". This will accept up to a ½” chain and holds up to 1900 lbs. This shackle works with the A2820, A2830. A2840 and A2850 swing hangers.
