Atlanta, GA, November, 6, 2023 -- Insight Global today announced the appointment of Penny Collins as IT Executive Chief of Staff effective immediately. Collins will report to Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) DeWayne Griffin.
In this role, Collins will support Insight Global’s more than 300-person IT (Information Technology) organization and teams responsible for digital strategy and growth, application development and delivery, quality assurance, project management, cybersecurity and risk, and technical infrastructure.

Prior to joining Insight Global, Collins served as the President and CEO of Women in Technology (WIT), an organization that empowers girls and women to excel in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) from the classroom to the boardroom.

Collins was Chief Technology Control Officer for First Data Corporation, Global Lead for Application Disaster Recovery and Head of Global Cyber Security and Controls PMO for the CEO. She was named as Atlanta Magazine’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders in Atlanta and was a recipient of their 2023 Women Making a Mark Award.
She was also presented with the 2023 Atlanta Hawks’ Forever 404 Honors Award, which is given to people who are “fully committed to serving and creating a lasting impact amongst those in need” in Atlanta.
Outside of work, Collins actively gives back to her community with various philanthropy and non-profit organizations, including volunteering in WIT’s single mothers program.
Collins lives in Atlanta with her husband, Brian. She is the mother of three children Lindsay, Ben, and Rachel; and grandmother to two grandchildren, Finley and Freya.
