Program Overview
The Shalom (Peace in Hebrew) program aims to create a culture of safety and security among Houses of Worship and participants that can enhance their sense of security and well-being. The program does not intend to create a fortress mentality or a hostile environment, but rather to foster a sense of awareness, responsibility, and empowerment. The program encourages businesses, houses of worship and all participants to engage in dialogue and collaboration with other community organizations, as well as with law enforcement and government agencies, to build trust and solidarity.

The Shalom program is designed to offer individuals, businesses, houses of worship, and all faith-based communities across the nation with a comprehensive and affordable package of safety and security training and services. The program also provides ongoing support and guidance to help houses of worship and participants maintain and enhance their mindset of safety, awareness, and responsibility.
